Labelling Fast-Food Calories with Exercise?!

Good evening my beautiful people :)
So, I saw this on the news the other day and I can safely say that I was quite shocked to hear that an action like this could potentially go forward in the UK
The relationship between exercise and weight loss is not new to any of us and yes people that aim to lose weight are advised to carry out some sort of physical activity but same as people who simply wish to maintain a healthy heart and overall well-being. NO amount of exercise can compensate for a nutritionally poor diet but it can only compliment a healthy lifestyle.
All of us are advised to make ourselves aware of our calorie intake in order to maintain a healthy and stable weight. But, in my opinion dictating such a direct relationship between energy intake and energy expenditure can potentially lead to an obsession with the way we perceive our body and looks.
Even if we wanted to so strictly relate our calorie intake with the duration of exercise needed to burn it off we would most probably end up miscalculating.. and this is because not two people can have exactly the same metabolism. Some  of us 'burn' calories faster than others and the type of exercise plays a substantial role in this. Therefore, your 30min jog cannot do the same to your body as to mine.

But most importantly, do not do anything to punish your body whether this is constantly avoiding a food that you like or exercising to burn off that chocolate bar. Know what's good for your body and learn how to respect it by nourishing it as much as you can.
Exercise because it's fun to be out and about and not as a way of punishing your body for picking the 'bad' food to eat..

There is no 'good' or 'bad' food xxx
